 Our new Krones canning line can fill and pack 90,000 cans per hour.
To meet the increasing demand for ever-faster and ever-more-efficient canning capabilities, UBL has recently completed the commissioning of a new, state-of-the-art Krones canning line. Located in a new, purpose-built can packaging hall, the Krones line is capable of filling and packing 1,500 cans per minute or 90,000 cans per hour. |  |
 | Very high levels of control start with the use of a contiflow blender/carbonator. The line is fitted with a 150 head volumetric filler which currently has a capability to handle standard 330ml, 440ml, 500ml and 568ml cans, but this can also be commissioned for 202mm diameter, 250ml slim and 330ml sleek cans.
The line is suitable for beers, ciders, wines, soft drinks, energy drinks, carbonates and juices. We operate a twin deck Sander Hansen tunnel pasteurizer, offering accurate PU control and exit temperatures of around 20°C, vital in most products. There is a comprehensive range of secondary packing options, including solid wall multi-pack, both hi- and mid-cone applications, plain or registered print shrink film. The packed cans are then auto palletised in a range of layouts to suit the customer via a Robopack robotic palletizer and the operations are completed by an Aetna pallet wrapper. |
